hi, i’m yerin!

I’m an editor, writer, and published author based in New York City. Originally from Seoul and a graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School, I love to tell compelling, yet meaningful stories, and am particularly passionate about spreading cultural sensitivity through the lens of identity, style, and pop culture.

I’m currently a features editor at PS (previously known as PopSugar), where I assign, edit, and write reported features and essays at the intersection of identity and wellness/lifestyle. I lead and produce special features and packages across health and fitness, beauty, identity, and lifestyle, working with a pool of strong and diverse freelance journalists. 

Previously, I was an editor on PS’s trends and viral features team and have held editorial roles at Seventeen and InStyle.
